EDUCATI REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s Degree in Restaurant and Hospitality Management or any relevant course
Minimum 2 years’ experience in the same role
Must be a coffee professional, highly skilled in making different types of coffee such as specialty coffee, etc.
Must have a leadership background and knowledgeable in screening and hiring staff
Outgoing personality, approachable and easy dealing with people in social settings
Excellent communication skills
Be known as a coffee aficionado
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for admin duties like supervising schedule for the staff
Will be reporting directly to the Brand Manager
Will manage 7 staff
Supervise, direct, counsel and assist all baristas
Keep up to date with new market trends
Ensures all projects and responsibilities handed down by the management team is completed in a timely and efficient manner
Develop and constantly update all beverage standard operating processes for the company
Control beverage cost and maximize sales and profits
Develops a training program for all barista and execute these training sessions in the highest of standards
Negotiates with suppliers to ensure the company receives the best provided rates for all beverage related equipment
Interview and trial barista candidates and provide detailed feedback to the HR Department
Identifying new coffee brands which is will be cost effective and of high quality
New product development
Conduct at least once every 6 weeks, a beverage sales boosting activity per outlet
