Job Summary: We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our Risk Management, Loss Adjusting, and Property Valuation team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative and clerical support to our loss adjusters, ensuring efficient operations and facilitating smooth communication between all parties involved in the claims process. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree.
Minimum 3 to 5 years Experience in the General Insurance Sector.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and office management software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist loss adjusters with daily administrative tasks.
Prepare, format, and proofread doents, reports, and correspondence.
Maintain organized files and records, both physical and digital.
Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages as necessary.
Manage email correspondence, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups.
Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for Risk Engineers and loss adjusters.
Input and update claim information in the database accurately.
Compile and analyze data for reports and presentations.
Assist in the preparation of loss-adjusting reports and doentation.
Coordinate with insurers, claimants, and other stakeholders as required.
