We are seeking a highly motivated Site Engineer to join our team in Ras Al Khaimah. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction activities on-site, ensuring that work is carried out according to specifications, quality standards, and within the set timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
•Supervise and monitor day-to-day site activities to ensure construction is proceeding according to the project plan.
•Coordinate and liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations on-site.
•Conduct site inspections to ensure that construction work adheres to engineering plans and standards.
•Interpret and implement project drawings, plans, and specifications accurately.
•Ensure all materials and construction activities comply with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
•Resolve any site-related issues and provide technical support to site staff.
•Manage on-site health and safety to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations.
•Prepare daily site reports and progress updates for the project manager and senior management.
•Monitor the performance of construction workers and contractors to maintain productivity.
•Coordinate with surveyors and engineers to address any discrepancies in measurements or designs.
•Ensure proper doentation of work completed, materials used, and labor hours spent.
•Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings and other project doentation upon project completion.
•Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
•Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of site engineering experience in construction projects (preferably in the UAE).
•Skills:
oStrong understanding of construction processes, methods, and regulations.
oProficiency in AutoCAD and other engineering software tools.
oKnowledge of construction materials, site safety protocols, and quality control processes.
oExcellent problem-solving and communication skills.
oAbility to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
•UAE Driving License: A UAE Driving License is preferred.
•Language Skills: Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
